About the conference
Dear Delegate,
GeoArena is primarily aimed towards people who work with or come into contact with geology via the public sector, trade and industry, the research industry plus companies and organizations in which geology plays a decisive role, and towards professional associations.
Geology will be the uniting theme for two days, fnamely 16-17 October 2012, when the Geographical Survey of Sweden holds GeoArena at UKK in Uppsala.
With four themes, global perspectives and a large number of speaker sessions, our aim is to collate the most important geological questions as subjects for talks, debates and discussions. AS an attending delegate, you will have the opportunity to listen and ask the questions you would like answered.
Delegate fees
- Basic price for 2 days: SEK 2 750 (excl. VAT)/delegate. Lunch and refreshments are included.
- Student price for 2 days: SEK 750 (excl. VAT)/delegate. Lunch and refreshments are included.
- Conference dinner at the historical Vasaborgen section of Uppsala Castle, SEK 900 (excl. VAT)
- Geological excursion on the old Upsala-Lenna railway, SEK 299 (incl. VAT)
- Geological excursion to Uppsala Cathedral, SEK 299 (incl. VAT)
- Geological wine tasting, SEK 299 (incl. VAT, requires a minimum of 30 participants)
